Hooray for Family Visitors

This weekend Caroline got to meet her cousin Micah and we got to see him for the first time in a while. He has (as kids are want to do) really grown! He was a ton of fun, particularly excited about balls and trucks. On Saturday we took the kids to the zoo (I will put some fun pictures of Micah at the zoo up later). Caroline wasn't quite as excited about the zoo - not being up on the sounds animals make yet. But, she had a grand time hanging out in the stroller. 

After lunch and a nap Deb and I took the kids to the pool. She got some good pictures of Caroline in her very first swim suit. She did pretty well at the pool, especially given how cold it was. She sort of looked at me confused by why she was both dressed and in the water. But, there was no crying, so I thought that was a successful first trip to the pool.

As often is the case when we get to see Scott and Deb, we played some Settlers. As you can see from this picture, Caroline was a big help to me as I played.
