Caroline: Full of Fun

Caroline has had a lot of fun over the past few days.
Caroline has had a lot of fun over the past few days.
We headed to Wilmington to get out of the house while ours was on the market. We saw lots of flowers at 2 homes previously owned by the DuPont family. Here are a few pictures of the trip!
Happy Easter!
We took a brief respite from getting our house ready to go on the market to celebrate the much more exciting resurrection of our Savior. We all got up early with Caroline rescuing the plastic egg with the word "alleluia" in it from the linen closet so we could all be excited about the resurrection. (We then moved on to finding Easter baskets with candy and gifts. Of course, everyone needed a pre breakfast chocolate snack.)
After a lovely church service we enjoyed a brief (i.e. just drizzling but threatening to rain so hurry) Easter egg hunt at the Robertsons. As you can see, Caroline successfully found eggs (Anna slept through the whole thing). I also managed to get Anna's first bow in her hair. And, might I add, it stayed there all morning!! It was a big day. But after a potluck lunch we came home and, for the adults in the house, had the first restful nap time in weeks!
We have dyed the eggs, gotten the dresses, read the Good Friday story several times, hidden the Alleluia and just made and hidden the Easter baskets. I think we are ready.
Anna can army scoot with the best of them. But she hasn't mastered (or really attempted) "real" crawling. I think she got so fast at the army crawl that she doesn't see the use of other forms of crawling. Imagine our surprise this morning when we looked over a few moments ago to see this. The bottom of the coffee table is 3-4 inches of the ground. Apparently it is perfect for crawling over. She is starting to eye the stairs. I'm scared.
Caroline and I went to dinner and Lowes tonight. We ate fine Panera fare with Caroline having the Mac n Cheese with yogurt side dish (and some of Daddy's chips). Daddy had the excellent Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich with some chips (someone else ate a bunch of them). We drank fine glasses of water and had yummy Easter egg cookies for dessert. Then we headed to Lowes for the real action...and after some time...Caroline fell asleep :-)
Please put your trays in the upright position as Capt. Caroline is about to take off.......at Smithsonian Air and Space for Caroline's birthday.
