We have dyed the eggs, gotten the dresses, read the Good Friday story several times, hidden the Alleluia and just made and hidden the Easter baskets. I think we are ready.
Jack's family did it growing up so we do too. Caroline wrote out the word on Good Friday and we talked about what it means. Then she hid it (sort of like Christ was buried. We all had to remember for the three days not to say "alleluia". Then Easter morning she "found" it and we all said "alleluia Christ is risen" really loud. It isn't elaborate or anything. But it is a fun way to remember that Christ was buried. :)

hidden the alleluia? I'm not familiar with that one.
